We're on a mission to reduce food waste.
Cocoa is the world’s third most traded agricultural product after coffee and sugar*, with 4.8 billion tons produced each year. Yet, for every metric tonne of dry cocoa bean produced, there are 10 tonnes of cacao shells left over as waste*.
We are working to extend the life of the cocoa bean by using the shells in our unique range of loose leaf infusions.
We small-batch all our blends in the UK, only producing what we need to ensure ultimate freshness and zero waste.
PLASTIC-FREE
Loose leaf tea is kinder to you and the planet.
Many of the tea bags we use on a daily basis are sealed using a plastic-based glue.
Not only does this make them non-recyclable or compostable, it also means that we are consuming small amounts of microplastics every time we sit down for a cuppa.
Our packaging is 100% recyclable, with the clear inner bag made from woodpulp (to be recycled with your food waste), and the outer box made from sustainably sourced cardboard.

Containing many of the same benefits of the bean itself, our teas promise functional health benefits, including:
✧ Theobromine: proven to stimulate the body's natural release of 'feel good' endorphins and help reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.
✧ Antioxidants: with levels higher than those found in goji berries, blueberries and green tea, the flavanols in cacao have been shown to reduce tiredness and improve heart and skin health.
✧ Vitamins & minerals: magnesium (which can help reduce stress and promote muscle growth and repair), potassium (crucial for maintenance of blood pressure) and fiber (great for gut health and digestion).
HOW TO PREPARE
3 teaspoons 〉100° 〉6-8 minutes
Infuse 3 teaspoons in boiling water for 6-8 minutes (or longer for a richer taste, cacao tea won't turn bitter or oversteep!)
Enjoy black or with a splash of your preferred milk to bring out the rich, chocolatey flavour.
Cacao tea can be drunk hot, cold or iced.
Reuse & reinfuse throughout the day by topping up with boiling water.
